Founded in 2008, Peers started with bespoke online communities. In 2010 we migrated our bespoke solutions to our group messaging service Peers.me. Early 2011 we started developing Peers Platform to support collaborative editing in Peers.me. During this we realized the potential of our platform for 3rd party developers. We are fully committed to open up the developer sandbox of Peers Platform early 2012 so developers can start using our new services for their websites or apps. While using the developer sandbox is free, use of the production environment will be a pay per usage service with a daily free quota. We expect the production environment of the platform to be released by the end of March 2012.
Our goal is to introduce a marketplace in the second half of 2012 for platform supported apps.
